Brandon Dean, Partner/President

Brandon Dean has 20+ years of experience in the Construction Industry. Starting as a laborer in 1993 and quickly moved up through the field as a welder, carpenter, foreman and superintendent, Brandon has developed the hands-on knowledge it takes to understand the industry.
In 2001, Brandon was promoted to the role of Project Manager / Estimator. During his Project Manager and continued his upward trajectory to now lead the entire team at B Dean Construction. His vision and leadership continue to make B Dean Construction one of the most competent and trusted Commercial Contractors in the Midwest.

Brandon has developed years of experience that bring knowledge along with quality to his projects. His team approach and vast relationships throughout the industry are what separate him from the others.

Randy Dean, Partner

Dating back to 1974 when he first joined his father’s company, Randy developed a passion for Operations management, responsible managing cost control, scheduling, subcontractors and quality control.

During his 40+ years of commercial building management, he has managed a wide variety of project types from office building, banks and financial institutions, industrial, manufacturing, warehousing, refrigeration facilities and offices, spanning from California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Missouri and Kansas. He also served as the President of ABC Associated Builders during his career.

Randy has authored project manuals, employee manuals, SOP manuals and quality & safety programs for both his former and current company.

K C Brown, Senior Project Manager

KC Brown has worked with the Dean family for over three decades. Finding his niche in Project Management, KC is responsible for all project management of the project’s cost control, scheduling, subcontractors and quality control.

His progression through laborer, superintendent, estimator to project manager has served him well in his current role. He has the technical knowledge of the construction aspect and his estimating skills aids in becoming familiar with all aspects of the project. KC has managed projects ranging from large site development projects, municipal facilities, office buildings, education facilities, industrial, warehousing, retail, automotive, cold storage, and multi-family housing. KC has completed projects from Arizona, Iowa, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Colorado, North Dakota, Missouri and Kansas. He earned a degree in Human Resources at Mid America Nazarene University and attended and played Offensive lineman in the early eighties for the University of Kansas.

Lori Brown, VP Business Development

While new to the commercial construction industry herself Lori has lived life close to it, married to our Senior Project Manager, K C Brown for over thirty years. A graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in Communications. Lori recent joined out the team and deepened our bench in sales and marketing with her local, regional and national management experience in the marketing and media industry including Broadcast Television, Radio and Cable. Lori shares our passion for being great communicators and building projects that exceed the expectations of our clients.

Cindy Burkit, Business Manager/Accounting

Cindy has over 20 years in business administrative & accounting experience. She spent several years serving in the construction industry in the accounting, civil engineering and the estimating departments. She has also served as on-site administration on projects including the James Kirkpatrick Library, Warrensburg, Missouri and the Ford Auto Mixing Facility in Kansas City, Missouri. Cindy has a strong customer service record. She has knowledge of various fields in the construction industry and experience handling billing, invoicing, purchasing, customer orders and more.
